George Hrunka, President & CEO
Mr. Hrunka has served as the President & CEO for Marathon Engineering and Gold Medal Construction Corporation. He is the qualified contracting employee for Marathon Engineering or Gold Medal Construction Corporation in over a dozen states. Prior to joining Marathon, George worked for Tindall Corporation in Spartanburg, SC, and Brayman Construction Corporation in western Pennsylvania. Mr. Hrunka attended the Masters in Construction Management Program at New York University, received a MBA from the Pennsylvania State University and a BS from Rutgers University.
Shannon Sadur, Controller
Shannon is in charge or all aspects of accounting, union compliance, payroll, payables, receivables and company insurance. Shannon grew up in Northern California and attended Shasta Jr College and is a graduate of the Redwoods Police Academy. Ms. Sadur has been with Marathon Engineering Corporation since 2001.
Eric Gibson, Director of Operations
Eric has been with Marathon Engineering Corporation since July of 1994, starting in the Installation Division. Mr. Gibson, is now responsible for all field operations and installation, as well as International Training. Prior to joining Marathon, Eric proudly served in the US Army and worked for Safeway in Anchorage, Alaska, before moving back to his home state of California.
Wayne Skala, AIA, Senior Estimator
Wayne serves as a Senior Estimator for Marathon engineering. Mr. Shala is N.C.A.R.B certified and Prior to joining Marathon , Wayne had a distinguished career in the jail and hospital market as a Project Manager and Lead Project Architect with DLR, Durrant Group and MRB Group (Rochester, NY).
Nilda Feliciano, Project Coordinator
Nilda has been with Marathon Engineering Corporation since 2010 and coordinates contracts, submittals crew movement and samples with our Project Partners.
Amanda Roberts, Procurement & Logistics Coordinator
Amanda joined Marathon in 2015, and is charge of purchasing supplies and shipping of all raw and finished materials. Prior to joining Marathon, Ms. Roberts served as a Corporal Juvenile Detention Officer for 6 years.
